Clarion is inspired by the calming effects of nature in our every day lives. This dress was created using the Shima Seiki Mach2XS whole garment knitting machine and the SDS Apex One knitting software. On the board shown above, you can see an example of the knit garment simulation that was created in the software. The garment was knitted with 20/2s cotton yarn that was created at The Wilson College of Textiles. The dress features an all over mesh knit design and purl hem on the bottom. Added embellishments are cotton yarn fringe as well as natural wood beads.
